From March 8th to 10th, 2010. Sky Solar Group held its 2010 Annual Meeting at the Holiday Inn in Changzhou, Jiangsu province. The meeting was attended by representatives from Sky Solar’s global employees as well as industry and investor friends. Mr. Yu ZhiPing, Deputy Executive Mayor of Changzhou, made a special appearance to give his congratulations and support for Sky Solar.
The Group’s Chairman, Mr. Su Weili, mapped out Sky Solar’s philosophy and goals, explaining that Sky Solar should take the lead in creating a more complete Chinese photovoltaic industry for the world. Our speakers for the meeting included He Zuoxiu - CAS Academy member, Tang YongChun - Director of the PEER Institute of CALTECH, Boyan Ivantchev - Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister of Bulgaria and Zhao YuWen - Chairman of China’s Renewable Energy Council as well as many other experts.
At the meeting, Sky Solar personnel and a diverse group of friends gathered together to examine the status of today’s photovoltaic industry, development trends and discussed the future of the solar industry. Senior management conducted a comprehensive review of our progress from various standpoints including strategic, financial, risk management, technology management, quality control and supply chain perspectives and set new targets for the coming year. All regional managers shared their local market briefings and detailed their plans of action. The participants also took this occasion to congratulate Sky Solar Changzhou for receiving the “Laboratory Accreditation Certificate” by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment Committee, and becoming China’s first independent state level testing organization.
With this meeting, Sky Solar reinforced the principles of “Integration, Creation, Win-Win and Sharing”. Creating a strong Chinese solar industry relies on cooperation between talented individuals at home and abroad. By integrating global resources we will continue to push growth and development and help create a stronger and more complete photovoltaic industry in China.
